I have two suggestions:

First, don't use any of the .jar files from the Java/CORBA Toolkit. I can see from the stack trace that you're using NCSO*.jar from a R5 release. The NCSO*.jar/Notes.jar archives in the toolkit are not being updated regularly and they most recent versions always ship with the Notes/Domino kits.

If you use the ND6 version of NCSO.jar the exception you'll get should include the reason why the remoted classes failed to connect to your server. Please try that and post additional details if needed.
